Kate Davis -  FESTIVAL DIRECTOR  Having worked in the events industry for over 10 years focusing on beer, wine and food, Kate is ready to fulfil her desire to make Ballarat the culinary heart of Victoria with the launch Of “Plate Up Ballarat”. Providing event services, delivery & project management, Kate collaborates with Ballarat’s thriving and diverse hospitality industry to create and deliver new and exciting food experiences, based on her mantra that “great food starts with great produce”. Kate is passionate about the Ballarat and surrounding region. Kate has embraced the opportunity to develop Plate Up Ballarat focusing on connecting and collaborating with local producers across Western Victoria, Ballarat’s restaurants and cafes, and the all important consumers.

Kesh Manton -  PR MANAGER  Kesh’s strong link to Plate Up Ballarat can be attributed to her family's catering business which saw her working from the age of 10 in food and beverage & special events. Her passion for food grew and, whilst she once considered becoming a chef, she decided against it as a career... Instead Kesh brings her PR & Event Promotion skills to the team, to showcase all that the festival has to offer.

Kesh’s strong link to Plate Up Ballarat can be attributed to her family's catering business which saw her working from the age of 10 in food and beverage & special events. Her passion for food grew and, whilst she once considered becoming a chef, she decided against it as a career... Instead Kesh brings her PR & Event Promotion skills to the team, to showcase all that the festival has to offer.

Bonnie White -  EVENT MANAGER  When Bonnie isn't planning events, she's attending them! She also loves travelling, music and spending time with her friends & family. She is a hugely respected member of our dynamic team and has been tapping into her vast Management skills to organise the incredible events planned for the month of May.

Penthea Marshall-Radcliffe -  PHOTOGRAPHER  Landscape, streetscape, portrait, still life - no matter what the subject, Penthea’s photographic images search for the unusual in the commonplace, the extraordinary behind the ordinary, the remarkable hidden in everyday. When Penthea is not taking photos you’ll most likely find her baking up a storm for her beloved food business,  Vegas & Rose , in Ballarat.

Eliza Steele -  GRAPHIC / WEB DESIGNER  Creative Director and owner of  That's My Jam Creative , Eliza has over 15 years experience working with local and International brands. Excited to showcase the local culinary talent, she has worked on the creative for Plate Up Ballarat's events and website. Eliza is excited to taste the amazing vegetarian offerings available during the month of May!
